Webinar Facade Fire Safety

DESCRIPTION

NEN, SFPE and BBN (organize Webinar Facade Fire Safety

NEN, SFPE and BBN are organizing a webinar about fire safety of facades. The latest scientific insights are shared by speakers from different parts of Europe. The webinar is organized for everyone who is involved in fire safety of facades and is interested in the latest scientific developments.

Worldwide there are examples of large and sometimes uncontrollable building fires, mainly involving facades. The fire in the Grenfell Tower is one of them, but there are many more of these examples. This has attracted the attention of experts in the field and prompted them to improve the fire safety of facades.

More insight

Fire testing of facade structures also led to more insight. In the webinar “Facade Fire Safety” these latest scientific insights are clearly shared for further knowledge acquisition. Participants can ask questions via the Q&A chat.

Speakers and organization of the webinar

Dr. Angus Law (University of Edinburgh), Lars Boström (RISE), Eric Guillaume (Efectis) and Sven Eeckhout (Belgian research organization BBRI) inform the participants about the latest developments. All people who are involved in fire safety of facades and who want to increase their knowledge, are very welcome. Registration is free of charge.
