From 11 to 13 November 2025, two BoD members of the SFPE Benelux Chapter attended the SFPE Europe LiION Symposium in Lisbon, Portugal.
The symposium brought together leading experts, researchers, and practitioners in the field of fire safety to discuss the latest developments related to lithium-ion battery technologies.
Over the course of three days, participants engaged in:
- 28 high-quality technical presentations
- Multiple panel discussions featuring international specialists
- Extensive networking opportunities with colleagues from across Europe and beyond
Our Benelux representatives returned home with a wealth of new insights, knowledge, and connections. The information gained will be valuable in advancing our work and supporting continued innovation within the fire safety community.
