The Society of Fire Protection Engineers was established in 1950 and incorporated as an independent organisation in 1971. Today, SFPE represents professionals practising fire protection engineering and related disciplines around the world.
The Society advances the science and practice of fire protection engineering, promotes high ethical standards and supports education through seminars, short courses, technical symposia, conferences, books and professional publications.
Established in 2012, the SFPE Benelux Chapter shares these objectives and translates them into a strong regional network for Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
